Home sales to foreigners in Spain will continue to rise until 2030

In 2023 and 2024, the property market in Spain continued to flourish, with the best period for property transactions observed in over thirteen years. According to data from the Colegio de Registradores, a total of 655,500 transactions were completed last year, with more than 90,000, or almost 14.5% of the total, made by international buyers. This level had never been reached before and also represented an increase of more than ten percent compared to the previous year. This success reflected the resilience of the real estate market and economy, which recovered from the aftermath of the pandemic, and highlighted the confidence of foreign investors in the Spanish real estate sector.
